Inflatable Bubble Bum car booster seat

Migros Do-It has the Bubble Bum brand of inflatable car booster seats on special at the moment.

This may be the "solution" for travelling, car pooling, visitors etc. It is ECE Regulation R44/04 approved (group 2-3 so 15 to 36 kg)

Regular price is CHF 47.90 on sale for CHF 28.70. It is obviously more expensive than a regular Styrofoam one but the small size when deflated might be of interest to some people.

The height of the tube (purple photo) is around 16cm so that might help with the size.

Video (EN) and photos.

Re: Inflatable Bubble Bum car booster seat

I have one of these. We don't have a car, but have used the bubble bum for occasional needs for a 'booster' for our 4-7 year old.

Personally, I was amazed that it fits the EU standard, and it definitely does not conform to the Australian/New Zealand standard) but for travelling and especially for taxi travel, it does help as often we find taxis do not have carseats (except in Switzerland, where I have found the taxi usually does have a booster)...

At least, it allows us to be 'compliant' for quick trips with friends in the car, or for emergencies...

Re: Inflatable Bubble Bum car booster seat

Never seen before. Looks interesting but maybe a little unsafe. Good to know for "emergencies".
