Re: Drive through car wash

Migrol has three tunnels in your area.

Enter Zug in the Ihre adresse box and hit suchen you will get three addresses.

Re: Drive through car wash

Car washes are expensive. Save yourself a few chuffs by driving your car into Lake Zug. It's crystal-clear waters are free-of-charge, and there are convenient access ramps at several points along the banks.

Added benefit? The flapping wings of the scattering swans are very effective at leaving your car dry and streak-free.

Reminds me of my father-in-law. Old Arty did not want to give up his drivers licence just because he had tunnel vision. The Swiss Police sorted that out...

Re: Drive through car wash

are there any "touchless" wash around zürich?

i normally wash my car by hand as to avoid those nasty brushes but i need the unterboden option in winter to get rid of the road salt hence the need to go into an automatic one.

thanks!

Re: Drive through car wash

After it bent my rear windshield washer I try to avoid these automatic washers like plague.

Normally, you spend more or less the same amount of time if you wash the car yourself. If it sounds dirty you can take a pair of gloves to protect yourself from dirt

Re: Drive through car wash

Just drive it in the rain, that's free..?

I personally use the one in Steinhausen (Oscar) but be wary of the machine chewing up your rear wiper & aerial.

Just out of interest: Did you use one of the plastic sleeves that are usually provided?
