Convert Swiss probationary license to a foreign license

Dear all,

I have a question on conversion of Swiss probationary license to foreign ones.
I passed the road test last July and got my probation license.
Then I moved to Norway and would like to convert my Swiss one to the Norwegian one.
Anyone has the experience of converting a probationary license to foreign one? Is it treated as a permanent one in this case?

Thanks!

Why would a probationary license magically be treated as a permanent one just because you switch countries? I imagine at best you'll get another probationary license in Norway, which is not such a bad thing if you're a new driver. Why not contact your local authorities? Re: Convert Swiss probationary license to a foreign license

yes it's treated like a permament license, at least in italy, but there they don't have a probationary license. anyway what matters is what is on the license, and it was harmonized by the council of europe, probationary license does not exist that's just internal rules.
be careful that in some countries there are limitations to newly licensed, like 0 alcohol, power limitation (first year in italy for example).
