So - always check with your local bus/tram company and with your local tariff network!
Quite right - because I just had a look at two other networks (which are totally foreign to me, a ZVV person):
- Basel (http://www.bvb.ch/tickets-tarife/die...e/velobillette)
- Bern (http://www.bernmobil.ch/Seiten/fahrp...d=1750&lang=de)

In both cases the typical 50% discount for Halbtax / GA applies. I suppose that all "normal" public transport (i.e. excluding cable cars or other transport leading up to popular up-the-hill things) will have that. The SBB will act as a definer of the least common denomination. But then - check

PS: Bicycles, in any form, in any shape, and in any guise, are totally frowned upon in the SZU (of ZVV membership) up to the Uetliberg (http://www.szu.ch/serviceinformation...ransporte.html) - all to encourage that the Uetliberg be safe (http://www.szu.ch/fileadmin/szu/pdf/..._Uetliberg.pdf). /me snickers manicially
