Driving to the UK - Space for one person

I'm driving from CH to Scotland mid next week and I have space in the car for one person. I will be stopping in London overnight before driving up to Scotland.

I'd be looking for a contribution but mostly could do with the company.

If anyone is interested in joining me then please PM me.

I've shared a car with him before. He's reasonably good company, and I didn't notice him fart much.

Probably around about 1000 miles (1600km) - really a two day trip for one driver.

So, Porsch, you decided to keep the car then?

Yes about that much. Depends on if I take the toll roads or not as well. I've done it a few times and always stop in or around London to break it up.

I did the sums with the garage over email. They said due to the weak Euro they don't want to buy it off me until the lease is up. They said the price that is asked (about 15000CHF) is fair but anyone with that much capital is going to be buying a new car at the moment.

So there wasn't much difference between keeping it and giving it back...bar the hassle. But I will worry about that come October.
