Swiss Traffic Rules/Signs App

I am holding a non-EU driving licence. I need to know how long I can drive with this driving licence? 6 months or 1 year.

Is there any App or website where I can read the Traffic rules, especially road signs?

Thanks.

Re: Swiss Traffic Rules/Signs App

No idea in English, but all the signs are here:

http://www.astra.admin.ch/dienstleis...x.html?lang=de

You can see if there are any that aren't reasonably clear, but that combined with drive on the right, speeds of 50, 80, 100, 120 in town, normal road, highway and motorway respectively is probably enough. Oh, and let buses out because they'll be expecting it and don't stop!

Driving license - 12 months.

Check out http://www.ch.ch for lots of useful things.

ps. on-street parking in non-marked spaces is not allowed; one of the best Swiss laws in my opinion.

Re: Swiss Traffic Rules/Signs App

Depends on which non EU country you originate from. You have up to one year to exchange your licence for a Swiss one if you drive here and longer if you don't drive. Whether you can exchange the licence directly, need to to a control test or take lessons here really depends on what licence you have and how long you've had it for.

The info for Neuchâtel (since Marin is in Neuchâtel) is here.( in French)
