Re: Motorcycle rideouts

Hi there, I went alone for 300km riding yesterday it was just sooooo perfect. I went from ZH to Togenburg (Unterwasser...) really great trip.

I would have prefered riding with a fellow, though.

Please keep posted !

Hi All - I'm also a new rider here in Switzerland. I've just picked up my new pride and joy (had to also add an image ), 1 month ago after not riding for approx. 10 years after moving abroad from Australia.

I am certainly interested in joining you on some ride outs and meeting some like minded people if they are still ongoing.

Cheers!

Re: Motorcycle rideouts

Meet up app. have a bike group for Bern.

Could be a bit closer to you which would help.

Join and organise a ride out yourself through this and perhaps meet new people.

Hi Everyone,
I am also living in Zürich, Altstetten part. I've just purchased my first bike 2 month ago (Honda CB500FA) and starting to get more experienced when I have some time. I am 34 and I consider myself a prudent as well..I'd like to enjoy this hobby when I am 60 as well
I would gladly join sometimes on weekends for shorter/longer tours.
Cheers,
Tibi
Oh and that's my beauty... ;-)

Hey Tibi
small suggestion; try not to balance your helmet on your saddle. Its going to fall off and at best it will get scratched hth

Re: Motorcycle rideouts

Agree I just knocked my helmet over and scratched a black visor for a Shoei. It has now marked my sight-line. Such a pain as it cost £50 in UK so not expecting a replacement to be cheap

Re: Motorcycle rideouts

Any interest in a ride next weekend (20/21 June) in the Basel area?

I'd post a photo of my bike, but it's black and I took the shot at night after I'd finally finished washing & polishing it...

Next weekend I'm not around... are you not available the coming Sunday (14.VI)?

Re: Motorcycle rideouts

On this note, anyone fancy coming to the new Ace Cafe (yes - a sister one to the London Ace Cafe) opening in Lucern this weekend?

I'm hiring a sportsbike and going down all 3 days...with a few hideouts in between. I don't know any bikers - certainly not girls on sports bikes like me!

Link is: http://www.acecafeluzern.ch/infos-grand-opening/

Any takers??

Kat

Re: Motorcycle rideouts

Thanks for the advice - I don't have permission to add anything to the calendar....maybe because I'm still such a newbie on here.

I have added a separate thread here:
Biker Event - Ace Cafe (Luzern) Grand Opening 19th - 21st June

The weather seems to be OK on the Friday but I'll be riding across from Oberentdorf after collecting my bike...perhaps joining a group of bikers coming down from Glemseck in Germany.

Sunday looks nice tho!

If Saturday is OK weather wise there's a rideout organised from the Cafe with Mark Wilsmore.

Dare you - rev it up!!!
