Does anyone have any idea how this works? Where are the stops and how do i find which one is best to take to my location. I need to get to Klusplatz from central. Can someone help?

Re: Zurich Night Tram

I'm no expert but I'd start at http://www.zvv.ch/zvv/de/home.html

In the left box, type Zurich central and pick it from the drop-down that appears. In the right box, type Zurich Klusplatz and do the same thing. Click verbindung suchen.

When the new window pops up, change the time and date to when you want to travel. Click the plus sign next to "details anzeigen" to see the major stops. Then click the little green plus sign on the left and it expands the view so you can see interim stops.

For example in a few minutes there's tram 3 leaving from Central. It takes 8 minutes, and there are 5 interim stops.

HTH

Edit - after doing all that I noticed you can change the language to English. In the upper left corner click Menu and then EN.

Re: Zurich Night Tram

very kind of you to help however it doesnt take into consideration the NIGHT TRAM service that is provided by the city. For example I want to take the 2am or 3am bus/tram home however it only provides me with the next day schedule which begins at 4:50am.

Is there any other way?

otherwise, as Im trying to read this map: http://www.zvv.ch/zvv-assets/fahrpla...ich_dez_14.pdf
It seems I am to take n16 or n19 to klusplatz however it makes no mention on where I have to go to catch on either of these busses.

please help!

When you do your search, put in tomorrow's date, because that's when 2 a.m. is. I have no problems finding options at 02:22, 02:52, and 03:22.

No worries. I had to laugh at myself when I read your post about the time. I'm such an oldie that to me "night tram" meant something like 11 p.m.

Re: Zurich Night Tram

OP: if you have a smartphone, you can download the ZVV app. Maybe marginally easier than EF for getting tram times.

The night tram service starts after midnight, normally. At 8pm in the evening, the normal service will still be running.

HTH.
