Control Tecnique question

Next week is first test for one of our cars .. It's already been into our usual garage and all good, including the chasis clean and work done that needed done etc.

Since they will check the seat belt operation, can i leave in the ISO fix seats in the back?? Wife will take the car in for the check with the two year in tow and she's rubbish at removing the seat. Ideally I'd think it wouldn't be a drama but reading some stories on here.. Who knows.

Re: Control Tecnique question

I have taken three cars through the contrôle technique here and they've never checked the seat belt mechanism.
If your wife has to take the child with her I would leave it and let the inspector sort it out if they need to. The seat obviously has to be there for the baby to sit in.

Oh well fingers crossed .. It was listed on a check list that my garage went through - a sort of pre-check..

Logic said that surely they'd just move the seat if required but after reading stuff here about cars being rejected for being dirty i was unsure.
