Baar/Zug to Enge by car: commute time?

Anyone commuting this route every day that can help with approximate time?

I am interested in the Baar Bahnof/Enge (Brandschenkestrassee) total duration commute by car, my destinations are close to the exits in both places.

Any experiences would be greatly appreciated, like best time to leave to avoid traffic, if exits are blocked in some places etc

P.S I already take the train so know all about it, just looking at my options.

Re: Baar/Zug to Enge by car: commute time?

Perhaps useful to state if you are flexible with start and finish time, or are they imposed on you and typical for commuters.

Commute to Lausanne from here is 55 mins if you can travel outside peak times, but add up to 30 mins if you can't. One of our neighbours works in Lausanne and leaves after 8.30 and after 18.00 to avoid this. Might be the same there.

Re: Baar/Zug to Enge by car: commute time?

I am a bit flexible with starting time but not too much, anytime between 07:30 and 08:15 as I need to be in Enge by 9 latest. Same for return I guess, anytime between 16:45 and 17:45 (depending on how early I leave in the morning)

Figure 15 minutes extra by car; more if traffic is bad.

Re: Baar/Zug to Enge by car: commute time?

Ok so to answer my own question for fellow EFers who might read this:

From Baar to Enge it took me 30 minutes, with medium traffic and rain. 08:10 to 08:40.

From Enge to Baar it took me 28 minutes, with medium traffic. 18:00 - 18:28

It really depends how far you live from the train stations, I am unlucky in the fact that my bus is not in sync with S24 train so I wait 10 minutes at the station everytime. More if there's a delay which usually there is.
