Help on driving license

Hello,

last year I attended a class for the theoretical exam of the driving license. Unfortunately I lost all my material I received to study when we moved away. Are there any online sources that have what is required for the Swiss driving license so I can review? Swiss speed limits, signals etc. Or should I just go back and buy a new set of books?

My second question, are there recommended driving instructors in Zurich? When I went to the Strassenverkehrsamt, they just gave me a long list of possible names so it's hard to pick out which speak english and which are good instructors.

Re: Help on driving license

You could use the official laws and regulations (not aviable in English):

Ordonnance sur la signalisation routière
https://www.admin.ch/opc/fr/classifi...235/index.html

Loi fédérale sur la circulation routière
https://www.admin.ch/opc/fr/classifi...266/index.html

Ordonnance sur les règles de la circulation routière
https://www.admin.ch/opc/fr/classifi...246/index.html

and good to know
Ordonnance sur les amendes d'ordre
https://www.admin.ch/opc/fr/classifi...142/index.html

for money you can get the official questions from varios providers in various forms (CD/Book/Online/App):

Hey thanks for the reply,

just to clarify on that last link you included, I understand it as it has practice questions using questions actually found in the exam?

Something like this? http://www.fahrschultheorie.ch/Download.10.0.html?&L=2
you could try to look on ricardo and such if someone has used material etc. and save some money.

For driving instructor you can ask a TCS-affiliated school, those have many teachers that are probably more updated and and they'll know if one speaks english. Prices are more or less the same.

Yes, all those listed in the last link have exactly the same question as in the actual theory exam.
