MC: Reregister with loss of power [new A2 license]

Hello,
as some of you might know, there are some new rules coming into effect on 1st of April this year when it comes to the motorcycle license 'A limité' (< 25kW). Amongst other things it will be bumped up to 35 kW to match the rest of Europe's A2 category.

When this happens, a lot more bikes will be available to those taking the license than previously. I have the possibility of getting a bike that has 36 kW, which is just slightly too much to be legal within the new regulations. However, as the bike is far from new, one can expect a certain loss of power over the years, and to my knowledge it might just be below the limit.

So my question is: Is it possible here in Switzerland to take the bike to a dyno and get documents for it's power and then have the changes made in the 'carte gris', in order to make it legal to ride with A2 lisence?

Not sure, but I doubt. In my opinion, it depends on the Typenschein (type certificate?) this specific bike is/was registered in Switzerland.
It might be possible that your bike as well has been registered under a limited version (25KW) - then it could work.
ask your / a dealer of your specific bike brand...

The main dealer can make the changes & confirm to the Authorities, get a quote first......

You should be able to get it limited (brider). I imagine this should be OK as when you do your permit for the unlimited A license you are allowed to use a motorcycle that normally has more hp if it has been limited.
