Nr 2, but Singapore is past Letzi stadium on the right and there is a tram stop right outside.

The whole area will be jolly busy, so I wouldn't head that way. Food is OK, but not that exciting.

I'd avoid the area.

There is a great Asian place in Lang strasse near McDonalds, can't remember the name, but it's a female's name if I recall correctly. Not reservations, bench seating, food is good, cheap and fast.

Why not go to the Chinese by Enge station, or the one next to ZH HB ?

A good place is: China Garden? It's on the next street down from Nelsons towards the station.

maybe :-)

Could think of Anne's place, but that is Glattbrugg/Opfikon and is not open at the weekend. Used to be a regular when I worked at UBS.

If you want something a bit more 'classy' goto Fuji of Japan opposite Bahnhof Enge.

Not sure how this double posted with my edit probably due to the slow connection this end.

Re: Road closures during EM

ho szhjcn, thanks for the recommendations, i'll be sure to check them out. as for Beyond (no relation to the seminal taiwanese rock band btw) near ZH HB, the food is pretty good, but i recall detecting a tad too much msg in their food...

ah hua at helvetia platz serves up some decent thai fare ...
