| | | Motorcycle racing school and tracks in Switzerland?
Hello Guys, I know there is a ban for racing events in Switzerland (hopefully will be lifted soon)... but I was wondering if there is any racing schools and tracks to go here in Switzerland?
I am more interested in motorcycle racing schools.
Once again, racing schools, not regular license driving schools...
I live close to Basel but I don't want to go all the way to Nurburgring on the weekends.
I search around internet with nooooo luck. Any ideas?
Also I am looking for trip partners with sport bikes (mine a R1 2004) in the Basel area (english spoken, my German no good ). Let me know if you want to meet up someday.... I am 32 years old but feels like 21
cheers.
Mg.

For Switzerland you could try this course, run by TCS : http://www.tcs.ch/main/de/home/kurse...orrad_08_d.pdf
Not in Switzerland, but have a look at http://www.speer-racing.com
They organise trackdays / training at Hockenheim (couple of hours away), and L'Anneau du Rhin in Alsace (even closer, between Mulhouse and Colmar), as well as Nurburgring and other European tracks.
Did you ride Nurburgring already ?

Excellent Info, thank you.
Have you gone there? Close to mulhouse is very good for me. Can go everyday...
I haven't go to Nurburgring yet, because I want to learn a bit more to actually enjoy the track.
Anybody has had experience in this track/school?
thank you
Mg.
sorry for my english!

Hi
Yes, I would be very interested in"racing schools, not regular license driving". I am English, but my German is OK. I would like to go to some kind of track day. E-mail me if you find something. I live about 1 hour south of Basel.

thanks | | | | | I went several times to Anneau this summer, small track but very good for learning. Check here http://www.speer-racing.de/termine
They will soon publish events for next summer, which you need to book in advance otherwise will be sold out soon.
I used to live in Basel but moved to Zurich, now I go track days (Fr, Hockenheim, Mugello, etc) with a couple of friends from the Uk. One more biker is always welcome. We are also planning a trip to Italy to see Rossi in action (we all have Ducatis :-))
Cheers

Hi,
I'm interested in joining any track days or race schools in the new year. I live around Baden, over the hill (41) and have a couple of bikes that I would bring.

hello iv just had a drive to Anneau de rhin today, for me it is perfect, just 40min away. so as the dates are out for 2011 will be booking. like to find out prices. Thanks for the info i will check the web site out. I think for 2011 i will just do Anneau as its just 40 min away and get back into it. although im intrested in doing as many curcuits as possible like in germany italy spain, also brno. With this Anneau is it like uk trackdays, like book & turn up with licence and bike, or do you have to have a race licence, do some kinda test or have to have an insurance? what was the prices for last year & how much track time. iv made a few plans for 2011 GPs WSBK & BSB do you no of any french or german superbike rounds? thanks once again.
hi heres my email address maybe you could contact me land we could sort something out.
thanks.

I'm also interested in any answers to these questions. How does a track day work at the Anneau de Rhin?

why is this thread starting up again just as the snow is falling ?
I'd be interested as well... just got my BMW Mid Life Crisis bike and, having had one run in France with a mate who can throw his Triumph into corners with his knee on the floor, I'd be happy to improve on my technique of moving my arse 1cm off the seat as I go round a bend...
