Where to buy bike/motocross gear?

Hi,

I'm looking to buy some motocross clothing and accessories (gloves and boots in particular). Does anyone know of any motocross-specific shops near Zurich?

Failing that, any pointers to general motorbike stores that might have motocross/enduro stuff in stock would also be useful.

Thanks in advance for your help!

- Jas

There is a polo shop in horgen on the road along the lake (close to the ferry terminal to meilen, you cant miss it) . They sell mainly motorcycle clothes and tools/oils etc.

Have you tried Moto Mader AG at Oberentfelden, they seem to have a good stock of most types of motorcycle clothing

Oberentfelden is maybe a little far out from Zurich, but it looks good too, thank you

Re: Where to buy bike/motocross gear?

Update: I went to Polo in Horgen at the weekend, and they had a decent range of motocross gear, though not huge. Thanks again BasP72!

Hi, I also find that Moto Mader is the best.
It is further but it's worth it.

Do they have motocross stuff? It looks more like a sports shop of the non-motor variety

my missus keeps telling me they have motorbike stuff as she passes it every day. But I've not been in and was of the same opinion as you when looking at their site...

Re: Where to buy bike/motocross gear?

Are there any big motorcycle clothing shops on the German border, somewhere near Zurich?

Re: Where to buy bike/motocross gear?

There is 3W motorsport in Wintertaur, they sell some motocross gear.

http://www.3w-motosport.ch/

Also if you go just over the border into Singen there is a Heine Gerike store and another motorcycle shop opposite (between WalMart and BurgerKing) that only sell clothes (its a while since i have been there so i dont know how much is motocross).

http://www.hein-gericke.de

In the city I highly recommend Ernes for anything bike related, they do have a clothing in the basement but it is mostly KTM and Triumph branded.

Re: Where to buy bike/motocross gear?

Thanks! I'm actually looking for a leather track suit, not motorcross (yes wrong thread title I know).

Do you know how big the shop opposite the Hein Gerike store is?

Re: Where to buy bike/motocross gear?

Singen is not far, and Motorrad Ecke is a great place with a good selection.

Lots cheaper than Hein Gericke, too.

Re: Where to buy bike/motocross gear?

Hi all, there is a really great motorcycle store in Wurenlingen. www.keller-motos.ch/default.htm I know it is quite far north of Zurich, but it's a huge Motorcycle store with a fantastic range of clothing and bikes. I got all my gear from there and the staff are all very friendly and helpful. Hope this helps

Could try Moto Mader near AARAU, not to far from Zurich, just of motorway, recently bought my track leathers there, good selection and reasonable prices. Good Luck

Re: Where to buy bike/motocross gear?

Thanks all. I went to 3W today; they have a large selection of Dainese but not much else. The staff are very enthusiastic to help, although seem to speak from common sense rather than experience..

I'll head to Singen next.

Here is a Google map with all stores I have found so far:

You can't mention "new bike" without the details
