Options for buying a new car in Switzerland

Happy New Year to all.

Are there any other options apart from approaching a dealer for buying a new car in Switzerland ie internet dealers, car supermarkets etc...

I'm not importing my current car as it was leased and there is too much complication to transfer. I'm looking at the Ford S-Max to accomodate a family of 5 economically and something both me and the missus will share.

Thanks

Re: Options for buying a new car in Switzerland

I'd suggest going to a Ford garage and haggling.

Car sales are down massively and they should throw in the kitchen sink to shift stock.
At least a set of complete winter wheels and other whizzy bits as well as a decent price.

Re: Options for buying a new car in Switzerland

Thanks all.

I've checked the autoscout website and the prices indicated there don't seem a lot different to the official Ford price list published on the ford website so I have feeling that the dealers may be the most competitive at the moment given the economical climate and the difficulty to shift units.

What about financing or leasing, is it similar to North America with manufacturer financing similar to GMAC?

What does that have to do with anything?
Nobody buys cars since 2009?
