Re: want a new bike!

have you checked www.motorradhandel.ch ?
Great place to look for new and used bikes.

Re: want a new bike!

Two other sites to check for 2nd hand bikes:

MotoScout24

SwissMotos

Although from what I've seen Motorradhandel is the best.

However, not all dealers advertise on there/or are necessarily up to date. If you know what you want, find your local dealers from the manufacturers' websites and pop down and have a look what they've got in the shop or give them a call. I just bought a bike a couple of weeks ago, exactly what we were looking for and at my local dealer, but he hadn't even advertised it on his website let alone anywhere else - it was only because we stopped by the shop that we saw it

Well, you will stuggle to find any smaller shops selling cheap bikes. I spent ages looking for a bike last summer and I couldn't find anywhere that was 'cheap'. I found that in general, bikes hold their value in Switzerland so you will probably have to pay good money. Best thing to concentrate on is warranty, service and any extras that you can get them to throw in. Good luck.

Actually, I am getting ready to sell my 2004 R1 if youre interested? Most garages want around 10500 to 11500CHF for a similar one. You can have mine for 9500CHF or nearest offer! I'll be putting it up in the 'For Sale' section later this weekend.
