Can anyone recommend a man with a van in the Lausanne area? If there is someone that helps with lifting everything that would be great.

From the Glocals website. This guy advertises his services. Have not needed to use him myself so not sure about pricing etc. He works in the Geneva/Lausanne area.

I used Ueli Weder for moving last week and would definitely recommend him. He brought one other guy to help him with the lifting and the time started from when he arrived at the flat until when he finished and worked constantly during the time. Really professional and I thought the price was reasonable, it was about 125Cfr per hour including everything (lifting with two men (for one flat with no elevator and involved two washing machines), van, petrol, insurance etc.).

I haven't had much luck getting a response from Ueli about moving my things ... well, he responded to my first email but since then has stopped responding. Too bad! Anyone else have recommendations?

Are you available the 2nd of july for moving? We are moving from Gland (VD) to La Chaux de Fonds (NE) and we need a van, about 14m3.

I also want to recommend V- he collected a group from the airport brought them to the hotel and colleced them again very early for their return flight. He was punctual friendly and reasonable.
