Ride sharing

I had a look around the forum and couldn't find a thread on car sharing.
I am not talking about Mobility Car sharing but a thread from people driving from A to B and offering a ride/ sharing Petrol, meeting new people etc.

Maybe this would be a good thing to set up as a permanent section?
I for one am driving a lot between Zurich and Bern on weekends and also Zurich down the A3 during the week.

Would anyone else be interested in setting up a permanent thread where people can post when/where they are going from ----> where to?

Re: Ride sharing

Something similar to lift club sounds like a good idea... There was something similar like that back in SA http://www.n1liftclub.co.za/. Is there anything like that here in CH despite the publick transport would have gone bust?
