Just Sold My Car - What Next (plates?)
OK, just sold my car and am left holding the license plates.
What do I do now, is it simply return them the local Strassverkassen (spelling) office where I got them?

did you get the car papers stamped as "cancelled" by the issuing office? Have you passed this paper onto the new owner?
If so - simply take your plates back. They'll probably have an unmanned drop for plates too.

Yeah several german companies make great plate holders! They are not cheap but the plates sure look good on them!! ;-)

No, you don't want something that will _overshadow_ the plates.
Best to go for something with a somewhat more subtle beauty, like a Fiat Uno, or maybe a Lada Niva.
