Dear all,
I am moving to Lausanne and I have a car with a foreign plate (italian)
I will have a permanent job, therefore I will be resident in Switzerland.

How long can I drive in Switzerland before changing the plate (I suppose I am forced to do so at some point).

If the car would not be on my name (my girlfriends car), is the same rule applied?

Do you have any idea on the price needed to change the plates?
