Long term rent, short term lease

Does anyone know how I can get a car for 6 months without it coasting the earth? I don't really need a car long term but planning a lot of trips in the next few months. Renting a car for 3/4 days is the same price as leasing for a month! but you cant lease for that short (or can you) or have to pay a big early exit fee!!

Any ideas or tips will be helpful!!!!

Nice idea, but I think its only useful for small trips within the city. Once you put in distances above 100km the rates go up to almost the same as normal Car Rental.

You sure..?

I just checked Europcar, for a one month rental on a compact (VW Polo or similar) it returned a rate of 1,959.96 chf. (includes 3,000km) but a similar compact from Mobility costs 780.- chf. (includes 1,250km). If you absolutely need 3,000km then the extra 1,750km on the Mobility car will cost an extra 350.-chf (0.20 per km). That's still nearly half of what a normal car rental would want.
