Mobility scheme - charge for mileage?

I used the mobility.ch scheme for the first time this weekend. When booking my car, I was asked to estimate the number of kilometers I was going to drive. In reality, I ended up driving fewer kilometers than I thought I would.

Does the "boarding computer" record my actual usage (and will I be billed on this basis), or is the bill based on my estimated usage?

I had a look at the mobility.ch website, but couldn't find anything in the information or FAQ that answered my specific question.

Re: Mobility scheme - charge for mileage?

I've never had to estimate the cost in advance with Mobility, but the computer in the car records your actual mileage so thats what you will be charged.

The computer keeps a track of everything, you'll only be billed the mileage you drove. It's suprisingly cheap around town.

The thing on the website is only to give you an idea of the cost.
