The question above came to my mind after reading several stories about 'nightmares' of importing a car in Switzerland.
I do not know if some people exaggerate about the importing procedure or if it is really bureaucratic and difficult.
I am interested for my car import (2005 model) with european union's license and signs.

Can you tell me, from a practical point of view, if it is worthing importing a car from EU Member State? I would like to keep my car if it is an easy task, but if it takes a lot of bureaucratic procedures then I will think about it.
