I'm sort of bugging this forum today

In the event that I would by a sport bike it would be necessary to have a circuit near Zurich, since roads are not the right place where to push our bikes to the limit.

Do you know if there is any and how far from the city?

Germany or France...

Hockenheim or Nurburgring in Germany are the closest. Since the Swiss don't like you getting out of third gear on most of their roads, I'd take it abroad for a blast. (Really missing UK tracks!).

Not strictly a race circuit, but you can do "Sportliches Motorradtraining" at the TCS place in Hinwil :

Not sure if they do English speaking courses though. Perhaps if there was a big enough group...

Anneau du Rhin (http://www.anneau-du-rhin.com) is the track closest to Zürich I know. It is north of Basel and it takes about 1h30min to get there from Zürich. One of the companies offering track days at Anneau du Rhin is the Cornu Master School (http://www.cornu-moto.ch - sorry, in French and German only).

Some of the motorcycle dealers in Zürich are offering track days as well. Ernes Euromotos (http://www.ernes.ch/events.htm) has one scheduled for 10th - 12th August in Mugello.

If anyone fancies getting a group together and trying this, i would be interested.
