Driving car with Spanish plates in Switzerland?

We are moving from Mallorca, Spain to Switzerland in July. To avoid having to buy 2 cars when we first get there we were hoping to bring our 1995 Renault 19. It has just passed the MOT and is in perfect running order, but we have been told it is very difficult to have the car pass Swiss emmissions.

Question 1:
How can I bring in my Renault and even use it for just one year or less to avoid having to buy 2 cars from the start?

Question 2:
Is it possible to drive the car around on Spanish plates for a year and then get rid of the car (we do have insurance here in Mallorca of course...)?
