Anyone driving from Romandie - Val d'Isere on Dec 30th?

Hi there, I've to get from Geneva Airport to Val d'Isere on Dec 30th. The only bus I can get will have me in the resort at 22:40, including four hours of hanging around beforehand. I wonder if anyone is driving up in the afternoon... Would appreciate any tips. Thanks!!
