Hi. I have a sailing boat which would be nice to register under a swiss flag. Well, ok, the uk docs say you have to be normally resident in uk to have uk registration of boat so really, it oughta be registered in switzerland soonish. The boat is a bit too big to actually sail/tow into switzerland ( it is 50 foot catamaran) so it won't ever lash around lake geneva. I'm new here (waiting for permit things) so any info/read earlier posts you dolt/flaming all gratefuly received.

For canton Solothurn, this is the link. Some of the other cantons have public car plate indexes that might include ships.
