Re: Car Wash in Lausanne

Finally went to this car wash and I can say that is very good. I am very happy to use it, I have been there so far 3 times. I like my car clean

But I didn't use the liquid wax. In the description it was written that it should be used primarily for non-metallic colored cars, as mine is metallic I figured it's better without it. Any opinion is welcome on this?

I am also searching for care care products, if anyone knows a good place where I can buy or order online.

I used wax for 2 cars in a row (both with metallic paint). Nothing happened so far. 1st one I had it for 3 years, actual one since august last year. You can order "Turtle wax" http://www.turtlewax.com/detail-1-St...Dry-42-49.aspx
This is one of the most popular/top product.

You should find it in any big Coop supermarket (Crissier).

Re: Car Wash in Lausanne

Yesterday I discovered another good garage that I will go very soon, it really looked excellent for the price.

It's the parking / wash garage at Montbenon ( you have to enter the parking, it's a Shell car wash) and I saw that they do washing in 5 (or 6 steps), the most expensive one was 21 CHF for pre-wash, wash, rinse, undercarriage, wax. I asked about the wax they said it was good for both metalic and non metalic cars and it was excellent for the underside of the car as it was washing the salt and putting a layer of wax there too to protect it from rusting.

While waiting I saw a huge Mercedes Benz SUV inside and many other more more more more expensive cars than my Toyota so I will give it a go.

There were less expensive solutions.

Anyone have tried this car wash?
