I have my swiss license....now I need to get my plates changed. Can anybody give me a hand her....??
I m aware after 12 months I need to register the car and get the plates changed....the 12 is just up and I need now to do this...

Do a search. It's ALL on the EF.

Errr. Yes do a search about importing a car. It's not as easier as getting a licence! If it's an exact make/model of a car sold here then it'll be easier. Be prepared for having a car test (MFK) with a clean car (including engine bay) and maybe certificate of conformity then emissions test (abgas) and Swiss insurance. I'm not sure about the order. Start your journey at the Strassenvekrsamt. North American and RHD cars need headlight modifications at least.
