The bigger problem I found in CH was having a car that was too low. Due to living near mountains, I kept having to scout ahead on foot any underground car parks to see if I could make it . After the second time breaking my front bumper I had to put the car into storage and prob will have to sell it.

Nothing final has been decided yet. Currently the plan is to tax importers if the average carbon emissions of the cars sold by them in a calendar year exceed 150grams per km, starting in 2015. However it's still subject to further debate in the parliament and possibly a referendum.

The initiative is supposed to be discussed in the parliament later this year, the popular vote will probably take place in February or May 2011.
