Yes, I received something from TomTom reporting that they have talked to authorties and there was no give in terms of having speed cameras published on their devices like the rest of Europe. There's a few articles on the web about it e.g. -
http://www.techdirt.com/articles/20070212/075138.shtml. In my opinion if they were really keen on safety then they'd slap points on your licence, but then they'd really have to justify some of the sections of roads they put them at.
Face it, we live in a country that has a 'fine' mentality, "do something wrong, you pay for it". I once got a CHF 60 fine for not coming to a complete stop at a stop sign... on a bicycle!! Apparently you need to put one foot on the ground. To be honest once you realise that it's not necessarily a bad thing [living in a 'fine' mentality country], you get used to it. The most annoying thing was the policeman was ever so friendly.
