Help with Car Insurance

Hi,

I've read all the topics I can on Car Insurance and have a good grasp of what is good and not so good. Couple of issues I can't find answers to are:-

When using Comparis all but one quotes come back as "Not yet 18 years of age on the date of licence"? This I can only assume is because I got my driving licence when I has 17 years old and in Switzerland it must be 18?

Also when trying to get a quote on Zuritel there is a question of "Type of Person" which answers "Natural Person" and "Legal Entity (Mulitple Drivers)" - what does this mean?

I need both myself and my wife on the insurance - am I right in thinking most insurance seem to allow anyone to drive my car i.e. the car is insured not me driving the car?

I first used a broker and he said to go with Zurich insurance, but after reading here I later found out that this quote was for 5 years - so I sad no to that.

The car I am buying is a 6 year old BMW 330xi touring - so not exactly a Ferrari, but the quotes have been around the 2.1K CHF mark which sounds about right.

Thanks

Re: Help with Car Insurance

I have a chap who'll do his bit for you - you have no claims from the UK?

Typically you insure the car and anyone can drive. You limit perhaps to a minimum age....

Re: Help with Car Insurance

Natural person or legal entity means an individual or a company.
For the date, I would just put in a year after so that it works for the system. It won't do much for the price quote. You can see which offers are lower/best for you, then contact the three you like best for a real quote.
