Ice Skating rink in Wädenswil

The ice skating rink is open from mid/end of November through the 5th of March and is located on the Seeplatz in Wädenswil, directly between the train station and the boat landing.

Great free time activities in one-of-a-kind surroundings and atmosphere. The rink's surface is 30 meters x 15 meters large and is ideal for both ice skating and hockey. The rink can also be rented out on certain evenings for private events.

The boat nearby is the steamship Gambrinus ( bar and restaurant ), belonging to the Wädenswil Brewery, located about 40m away.

Heuried and Dolder ice rinks have also been open since October daily for skating and hockey.

Always fun, and a skate-date is an amazingly easy way to connect and have fun!

For anyone who's interested or bored tonight. Myself and a few friends will be at Landesmuseum tonight round 8ish for some ice-skating, gluhwein and general good times.

Does the Wadenswil rink rent skates? We don't own any and I would rather rent to see if my daughters like it before investing.

according to the site it's 4 francs to rent:

Or if you plan on going repeatedly 40 francs for 12 trips. Which is a very good deal if you don't mind rental skates
