Great Customer Service (booking.com)
For my forthcoming visit to Switzerland I booked a hotel in St. Gallen through booking.com
After booking, an EF member suggested an alternative that meets my needs better, and is cheaper.
I looked at cancelling my original booking and there were no problems at all. The original booking email includes a link to amend or cancel the booking. Up to 24 hours before arrival there is no cost for cancelling.
I received an email to confirm my cancellation by return. I know this is an automated service but it has been well thought out to make it very simple.
