You book the flight, then get to choose car hire... Go for the 1.4 Polo

Maxi Protection Cover
Yes, add Maxi Protection Cover and reduce my excess to CHF 1620.00 for only CHF 810.00per day in the event of theft, attempted theft, collision or damage.

Is that for Europcar?

I didn't have any such experience booking at Gatwick last week. (for July)
