Outlet City Metzingen - Open this Sunday!

See here. Worth a visit to get your summer shopping done in my opinion

If anyone is driving there, I am happy to share the cost of gas if that gets me a seat in the car

If not, I will have to take a train and therefore arises the question of how to claim the tax refund on my way back. Would any of the intelligent folk here on EF know what would be the best route (without too much hassle) on my way back to Zurich so that I can get my forms stamped from both sides using public transport?

Re: Outlet City Metzingen - Open this Sunday!

I travelled all the way there about a year ago by car and was very disappointed with the prices the offered.

Maybe now that the euro is so low it might be worth while to go, but i would check the prices with a phone call instead of travelling and then regretting it.

Good luck

Hi

Would you be able to compare the prices to Foxtown? I've been in Foxtown a couple of times, and the prices are usually 30-50% off, some 70% but is possible to get more than 90% especially during the sales season...

I love the place, but it's not US-cheap. In a European context, it is interesting. There are interesting prices among almost normal prices so one has to look carefully.

Agreed. Apparently a new Armani store has opened there as well which partly piqued my interest.
