Some years back I recall visiting an area of outstanding beauty in montreux end of VD or VS but can not for the life of me remember the name. I found it on a map I got for free, but sadly cannot find that either. I recall it was a path along in a valley along which you walked. It was a place that was only open during the summer and I vaguely remember you need to drive along a single track road to get to it. At the start of the walk there was a place to park your car and eat. Is this ringing any bells for other readers? would love to go back again if I can find it.

Lavaux?...It's a phenomenal walk...You can start in Lutry and head all the way to Montreux, excellent 4-5 hr hike with views that are unmatched, IMO
