This is a beautiful trip down the river Aare, begining at Biel/Bienne and ending in Solothurn.

Passing through a sluice, its apparently one of Switzerlands most scenic rides.

Good for kids (who like boats). Possibly better for those that are at least 2 or 3.

Arriving in Solothurn, you can also wander the streets and see St Urs Cathedral, built between 1762 and 1773.

And a most beautiful Jesuit Church.
