Sure I posted about this last year too!

But I'm a big fan so anyway the Mathis Hof (in Bottmingen just outside Basel) Pumpkin Festival is on this weekend (24th and 25th September) if you fancy popping along for some Kurbis-everything. There are hundreds of varieties of pumpkin for sale as well as other farm produce including schnaps and preserves. There's lots of fun activities for kids as well - a Maize maze, straw castle, kids can carve or draw on a pumpkin and hit each other with pillowcases of feathers....! It's worth it if the weather is nice. Highly recommend the pumpkin soup.

We are going on the Sunday with a bunch of people from the BCT so if you feel like joining us, the more the merrier. We're meeting at 3pm at the maze entrance (although we'll probably be there a bit earlier than that for some pumpkin-related lunch - or just sausages!)
