I am going to Amsterdam in a couple weeks. We booked through EasyJet. We got a hotel and flight (3 nights). For about 350CHF each (for 2). This appeared to be the cheapest option... We booked about 2 months in advance. It is always cheaper to plan ahead. I know there are sites for last minute vacations, but I am not certain which is a good one!

I mean.....seriously? Posting this on EF was the best that you could think of?

Easyjet is the cheapest and fastest way to Amsterdam.

I am Dutch and I have done it a couple of times to go home, also searched for alternatives, but the ICE for example is way overpriced and takes as long as travelling by car.

Total cost for a return was CHF128 with KLM Airlines (I booked on-line via their website). I booked 2 months ago. I think this is quite cheap - but cheapness is relative.

That totally depends on where you live. From Zurich, if you can find a flight around 199 CHF (KLM or Swiss), it's cheap.

If you travel on weekdays and you are flexible, it should be easy to find such deals. However to find a weekend deal (Friday night - Sunday) you will need a bit of luck. A few years ago it was a lot easier to find cheap flights between ZRH-AMS than it is now.
