An agreement was signed at Geneva International Airport between GVA and the three partner companies of UNIRESO - TPG, CFF, and Mouettes Genevoises - the object of which is to offer air passengers arriving in Geneva a ticket allowing them to travel free of charge in the "All Geneva" zone for 80 minutes, from Geneva International Airport.
A ticket machine will be installed for that purpose in the baggage reclaim hall. In the event of a ticket inspection on the TPG, CFF or Mouettes Genevoises, anyone holding this type of ticket will have to show they have an air ticket proving they arrived in Geneva on that day.
GVA also wishes to make movement easier for passengers arriving from abroad, who are by definition unfamiliar with the Geneva public transport system, so that they can leave the airport and make their way to their destination in the canton of Geneva as easily as possible. The measure is also aimed at Geneva residents by giving them the possibility of returning home free of charge.
