Is anyone planning on going to Expovina (the wine expo on ships at Burkliplatz) this year? I'd like to go for the first time, but the website isn't that helpful... I can't find prices or whether I need to get tickets in advance. Does anyone know how things work?

I'd appreciate any tips, information etc. From the website, it looks quite lovely... especially for a wine lover like me.

Maybe we could even get a group together and make and EF event of it...

My hubby and I take an afternoon and go every year.

Last year it was 20 CHF, and you can pay at the door. We usually do a big wine run at the Movenpick wine cellar and they give us as many free entry passes as we want.

I don't recommend going on Thurs/fri evening on the weekend as it's too busy and you don't actually get to have a lot of one on one time with the vendors. That said, not everyone can go during the day. If you can get there around 5 it should still be fairly quiet.
