the area where I live that is. Born and bred here in the Neuchatel Jura, back now with my British OH after 40+ years in the UK. It's lovely to be back and we would like to discover the rest of Switzerland, but money is a bit tight now on UK pensions due to exchange rate. And anyway, visiting an area with locals, even if adopted, is so much more interesting. I know all the best places around here, be they walks, restaus, Museums or other attractions - and would love to share them with others. We are in our 60s, but young at heart, so age unimportant, families welcome.

So how about swaps. Not swapping houses in the 'traditional' sense, but co-hosting. If somebody would like to get to know another area- and woud be prepared to show us where they live- that could be fun. For us it can be week-end or week days. All is required is a simple but comfortable spare room. We can offer a very large double en-suite- and another if somebody has children. No dogs as our own elderly dog is jealous as hell of other dogs. On a 1, 2, 3 basis- we cook the first night, we go to a local restau (all budgets and style avalaible) and if you stay longer, you cook the next meal (btw we live a few minutes from France for shopping) and so on.
