I haven't been there yet, but I heard it's very popular and looks great! And the Rochers de Naye are gorgeous even without Santa Claus! My son went there several times with his Dad, and just taking the train there makes him happy!

PS: don't forget to tell us how it was!

Yes we went. We loved it .. all of us (2 adults, 1 year old and a 6 year old). There are even real reindeers to pet at the train station, and then you walk down a long long tunnel to Santa's Grotto. Husband remembers fondly the rather lovely elves who accompanied Santa. We had lunch up there, and played a bit in the snow. Another time, we would take our skis as there are a few gentle ski runs up at the top which our son was looking at longingly. There was a little play area next to the cafe for really little ones (with a brio train) so even our crawling 1 year old had a good time.

And of course the Christmas market in Montreux is fabulous.

All in all it was a great weekend away and has been talked about many many times since.

PS You need to reserve.

Took my 4, 7, and 10 year olds last year. Start early, as it's a big event. Santa was a class act and it's true what they say - he's good at languages. He really took his time to connect with each child. Don't get stranded at the train station at Caux, I think it was, like we did though. The bar scene that evening was, well, interesting. My daughter rightfully noted that if that scene had been in a movie, she wouldn't have been allowed to watch it until she was grown and moved out of the house!
