We are interested in going to Baden Baden to experience the Friedrichsbad. I am confused on some of their wording on their website. I have never done a Roman Irish Bath before...

"On Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays, Sundays and public holidays, men and women can use all 17 stations together."

Does this mean all random men and women run around naked in the baths together or does this mean only you and your partner see each other naked during the bathing ritual --- so confused!

On the whole people parade between rooms with a towel over them, but in the baths, steam rooms and saunas you can expect abundant naked flesh on display. You'll stand out if you wear anything and likely be chastised if you do.

We were there last year and I was rather embarassed in the beginning
but I got over it when I noticed that the men and women there were
so mature about being naked and it all seemed so natural.The part that
did freak me out was going to the 'sleeping room' at the end where a young
guy wrapped us up in a sheet and blanket on a bed so we could relax..the young bloke was very professional though as though he was used to seeing
every age,shape and size in their birthday suits.
