Beer Brewing Workshop Day

Anybody interested in a day of learning how to brew beer at the Bier Factory in Rapperswil?

Someone from the forums came in last week and asked if an English brew day course is possible. Stephen, the brew master is from New Zealand so that's possible. He is willing to do a course but I wanted to see if we can get the minimum people (6). It's 225 per person with a max of 10 people. Takes the whole day and is an interesting and fun way to learn how to make beer. Also fun to meet others and work in a team.

Days in consideration are on a Saturday: Feb 11 and March 10.

Let me know if that's something you would like to have available and I will try to arrange it.

Sounds interesting but will it be possible to be done as a day trip from Geneva?

225chf what does that include exactly ?

Is it learning how beer is brewed at the factory or learning how to make your own home brew?

My husband has done this twice and highly recommends it. You get beer and food and a whole day brewing for that price

Included in the price:
Beer brewing under guidance of a man of the trade.
16 Bottles of your own specially brewed beer. (Deposit not included). Ready for collection after approx. 6 weeks.
Hearty brewers “morning tea”
Midday meal
Beer and soft drinks “à discretion“
Brewing Diploma (as long as the beer passes the test!)

Definitely interested but can't do either day... anything late Feb or late March would be good (at the moment, anyway!).

So far it's looking like the March 10 day works for most people. I'll post a final sign up list in the commercial events section of the forum when it's confirmed and if we have enough people then it's a go.

I'll try to put together another event if this one works out and maybe you can come to that.
