| | | Cheap flights to Barcelona
Anyone know which airline offers the cheapest flights from Zurich to Barcelona? Easyjet offer great deals from Geneva but from Barcelona the prices seem a lot higher. I know Vueling and Swiss fly direct to Barcelona, anyone else?

I don't know, sorry.
But if you could find which flight could send all the tourists back home, that would help me. |

Hope you never upset the mods here as you'll be unable to function. If only somebody would invent something to allow us to find things online ourselves
Anyhow....you're very unlikely to be able to fly to many places on cheap airlines from Zurich as it is an expensive airport to use. I think EJ only have a couple of routes, Ryanair not at all etc etc
Airberlin might be worth a look but IMO their fares have been steadily increasing. You can find the timetable by writing to their headoffice and they will mail a big book directly to your front door with paper and everything (I think you'll find that system more to your liking)

Also Swissair many times has promotions on 170.
Do you think 70 francs is worth for 2 hours waste and no luggage in easyjet?

The bar is a cool place to hang out and I've almost always had a great time there.
Order a beer on the plane and as likely as not you'll be drinking alone.

You'll probably find those Swiss offers are only valid if you book a return flight, so ruling out the possibility of mixing and matching or say going by train one way and flying back.

Go to http://matrix.itasoftware.com and fill in source/dest/time and voila you'll know where you can get the cheapest tickets. If you enable the right options it can also suggest alternative airports in the area which might be cheaper.

I could recommend Vueling Air. They have great service flown with then from Alicante to Barcelona last week not that cheap but still great service. Airberlin is also a good choice but then again I will stick with Swiss Air, got a return tick last week for 120CHF and at the end local is better .

Some low cost flights ( 20kg checked bag included ) in Spain from Barcelona - Helitt Airlines. http://www.helitt.com/ | Quote: | | | | HAND BAGGAGE
Each passenger (except infants) is allowed one piece of hand baggage up to the dimensions 22cm x33cm x44cm (8in x 13in x 17in). The maximum weight cannot exceed 6kg (13lbs). Handbags, laptops, briefcases, items from the airport stores, cameras, etc. must be placed inside the hand baggage. All items considered extra cabin baggage or oversized will be rejected at the boarding gate or taken, whenever possible, to the loading area of the aircraft, with an additional charge of 40€. If you have any doubts about hand baggage ask for help at the bag drop desk before going through security checkpoint. Hand baggage cannot contain restricted items.
CHECKED BAGGAGE
Each passenger is allowed to check a maximum of two pieces of baggage (a maximum of 3 pieces for Helitt’s Flex passengers), all of them up to 20kg and only one of them checked for free. It is not permitted to divide or check together the baggage, even if the passengers are traveling together with the same reservation. Any bags carried exceeding the allowed weight limit will incur an additional charge for excess baggage. This amount will be increased for every kilogram over the maximum allowed. In those airports with self-service check-in, the passenger shall have paid all fares for checked baggage and/or excess baggage and have placed the checked baggage in a bag drop desk at least 40 minutes prior to scheduled departure. | | | | | Departure tax: EUR7.50
