Quad/ATV groups?

Hello everybody!!

I recently bought a quad, that was a lifetime dream to me, and I'm loving discovering Switzerland with it.

I was looking on google for groups of people with ATVs to organise some days out, but I couldn't find anything (probably also because of my lack of German..)

Anyone in the Zug - Luzern - Zurich area who would like to organise some nice rides? If not, do you know any group / website for that?

Thank you and i hope to hear from you!

Re: Quad/ATV groups?

congrats for the purchase, you know that its not allowed to go offroad here though unless its a private area so no off tarmac ventures

Re: Quad/ATV groups?

I know Rob!! in any case, I've still managed to find some breathtaking trails.

They are not off-road but they are amazingly beautiful still, although i'd love to share those trips with some other quads

These are some places I've been in the past 3 weeks

Re: Quad/ATV groups?

good pics, is a shame there are not designated areas even for dirt road riding.

it just means people have to go on holidays to france or italy for cheap great trips and food

Re: Quad/ATV groups?

Hi There.
I am new in town [LU] and looking to buy ATV and learn about my options and would be happy to hear from you and learn from your experience.
I don't speak the local languages and find it very difficult to even start to understand where / how and so on...
I would be happy to hear from you

Re: Quad/ATV groups?

Hi Israeli!!

Sorry, I've seen your message just now!

Did you finally buy the quad?

I think that if you look at Ricardo, or AutoScout you will find a lot of offers, this is how I found mine

If you bought it already and you live in Center Switzerland, let me know if you wanna go for a ride

All the best,
Gisel

Re: Quad/ATV groups?

Hi guys,

talk about leaving for late.
Well, as I'm also in Zug and have a couple of quads and SXS's at my disposal (thanks to work), I'd be very interested to know if anyone else is going out for rides.

I know the regulations are kinda tricky but was wandering if there are any areas we could go exploring.
