mrs. and I are looking into a little break.. we usually go to Leukerbad but were surprised to find out this place is just about as close on the train ( the other side of the mountains from Leukerbad )

We stayed there last December and I have to say it is an excellent hotel! It has an amazing spa, great hotel bars and fabulous breakfast included. (I think they also do food) It is very near to the train and the centre of town. I can't rate it highly enough. Definitely a great place to stay )

We went to Adelboden for a day trip a few months ago and loved it. Spent the day riding cable cars, walking and flying down the mountains on hired trotti bikes (scooters). We were planning to go back for a bit longer - this Hotel looks fantastic!!

Stayed there in mid July. AMAZING place. Had breakfast (included, very good) and dinner twice, once on the "inclusive" option (Halppension in German) which was a 3 course menue with two choices (beef fillet was what we went for), very good but small ish portions. We went a la carte the next night, though more expensive was absolutely fantastic food except for the desert variation, which I found a bit disappointing. Agree that SPA is also good, but infinity pool is really small (compared to pictures online). If weather is good I def recommend hiking from hotel to the Engstling falls (about 2 hrs next to a mountain brook) and then taking the cable car up and walking on the Alm (amazing alpine scenery). Then a bus back to opposite the hotel (both bus and cable car are not cheap though). All in I would def. recommend this place. Have fun!!!!
